I work as a senior low-code developer for a fun, no-nonsense IT company in Antwerp. I train and coach junior developers, and listen to customers’ needs, translating their requirements into tech language for the team. My team specializes in OutSystems, one of the many software languages in the IT world. We build apps quickly and customize them straight away – a win-win! I work on internal projects as well as with clients.
What you actually do
As an OutSystems Expert, you develop cutting-edge solutions using the leading Low Code platform, OutSystems. Working with the Providit team, you will deliver solutions that optimize operational excellence or support new and existing business processes. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with a team of dedicated and highly skilled consultants at our customers’ sites in Belgium and Europe. Your main responsibilities include:
- Delivering applications that meet our customers’ needs;
- Owning the entire process from design and implementation to application support;
- Consulting with customers and team members to discuss functionalities;</li<
- Working iteratively and closely with users to build the best solutions;
- Having extensive knowledge of OutSystems.
Alternatively, if you’re an experienced .Net or Java developer/Tech Lead/Architect who wants to enter the world of Low Code and OutSystems, we have a place for you! You should be interested in database design, application architecture and security, processes, and usability – but not enjoy repetitive coding.
What we expect from you
- At least 5 years’ experience as a software engineer;
- Knowledge of OutSystems, or mastery of .Net/Java and SQL;
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications;
- Extensive knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3;
- Strong understanding of application architecture and relational databases;
- You’re a native Dutch speaker, and fluent in English. French is an advantage.
